´╗┐NON-ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION FOR YOUNGER AUDIENCE ENGAGING Communicating to a younger audience needs to be engaging because these types of audience normally have a short attention span as a result they tend to lose interest rapidly. So a presenter needs to tailor to their needs by having an exciting and active presentation to keep the audience attention which will successfully get the message across. HUMOUR Using humor when communicating to this audience is effective as it helps to ensure that the audience is interacting with the presenter by making sure the audience is listening, therefore assisting the presenter to inform or teach the audience. USE OF SLANG The use of slang to approach this audience would be the appropriate level to use as it provokes them to listen and to be interested since they can identify with the language. It also stops the presentation from coming across as boring. INTERACTIVE Being interactive with this audience helps to make sure they fully understand the information presented to them and encourages them from seeking clarification if needed. NON-ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION FOR DEAF AUDIENCE HAIR Aspects of a presenter such as hair when communicating to a deaf audience should be tied back to avoid the possibility of distraction to individuals during the presentation. CLOTHES Clothes also serves as a distraction to younger audiences as wearing inappropriate clothing such as bright coloured would remove concentration from the audience lip reading to get the information being provided to them. COLOURS A Presenter for a deaf audience should not wear eye catching clothes as it stops concentration and understanding of the message being provided as focus is instead on clothes worn by the presenter. Spelling, Grammar, Short paragraphs etc. The content of an email sent towards this audience serves as a physical first impression because not applying right grammar or spelling in an email will discourage readers from reading the whole email or understanding the information provided. Short paragraphs should also be used to construct the information to prevent attention being lost from readers in the audience when reading the email.
