Introduction

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, if in a hurry individuals should know how to make a good and healthy breakfast. An Omelet is a very quick (Figure I) delicious and healthy (Figure II) meal to prepare.

Materials

  • Skillet
  • Pam
  • Whisk
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt, Pepper
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Peppers
  • Cheese (optional)
  • Turkey (optional)

Prep.

1: Evenly slice all vegetables.

                                 

2: Crack eggs into a medium sized bowl and blend the eggs, with Salt and Pepper using a whisk. Beat with whisk until the mixture is frothy.

                                

Procedure 

1: Place the skillet on the stove and pre heat the skillet on medium heat, evenly spray pan with Pam in order to reduce omelet sticking to the pan.

                

WARNING: Make sure the handle of the skillet faces inwards, in order to prevent an accident, because the handle is hot and can cause a burn on the skin.

2: Put the vegetables on the skillet and cook the vegetables until they turn a brownish color, before adding the eggs.

WARNING:  Be careful when adding eggs, because the vegetables may expel hot juice in the air.

3: When the vegetables start simmering, pour the egg mixture into the skillet

4: Move the skillet around in order to induce even cooking.

5: As eggs set, use a spatula and push edges of the egg mixture, allowing the uncooked eggs on top flow to the bottom of the skillet. Repeat the procedures around the edge of the entire omelet.

6: Flip the Omelet on in half, to induce even cooking.
