I personally disagree with this statement because I strongly believe that money isn’t
everything and it won’t buy us happiness. Having millions and billions of dollars could sure
make us rich but however that much amount of wealth could make us “slave to money” and
this would indeed make us live a “poor life”. The responsibility of having that much money
would take the most of our time that we should have spent on family, friends, and the many
other enjoyable things in life. Saravanan P of Engineers Finance says “it’s more important to be
happy than it is to be rich”. Sometimes I personally agree that the poor that’s starving and
dying in countries such as Syria should have money to buy them their basic needs. But I also
agree that the happiness that people have with reasonable amount of money is far better than
the happiness that the wealthiest people have. After we become rich we spend most of our
time thinking about how to spend the money and where to invest it. We think and think until
we reach an age that’s when realize the importance of life and the joyful experiences that life
has to offer us. We should make sure that we are not sacrificing what’s important in our life to
make money.
