Extracts from this document...

Introduction

(Introduction Presentation documentation coursework for IT) I am going to create a power point presentation for people who don't understand cricket so I can show them the cricket rules. Other than doing a presentation, there are many other ways of. Showing the rules in world of cricket and how the game is played and what equipment is needed. All of these however, aren't as ideal as using Microsoft Power Point: * Article: I can use article to show people or teach people how the game is played and what equipment is needed. But the problems I can face with articles are that they are often too long and boring so people would not like to read the whole article. * Speech: Speech can be boring. You are not sure whether the people listening understand you and are paying attention. I would have to carry all the equipment and show it one by one, which will take time. The fact that the presentation will be attractive and not boring because it will include colours and will also have pictures which will not be boring but interesting for the people viewing it. In my presentation I will include: * Rules in the World Of Cricket * Equipment * 3 types of game form * Top Ten teams around the world * Forthcoming World Cup * Images, flags etc. to make it more attractive Apart from the main hardware (CPU, Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse) I will also use the following hardware: > Modem to get access to the Internet > Touch screen as I might have to select something to attract the audience's attraction. > Projector as I have to show my presentation to a group of people and not only one individual person. To keep my work organised and ordered, I will have to create a new folder in my documents and call it 'GCSE ICT Documentation coursework'. ...read more.
