Conclusion...
In this report I was asked find two different computer systems and compare the two. I got two different computers, getting there full specification and in the end I had to recommend one of the computers, which was much better than the other. I was also asked to produce a software table where I recommended the better one.
Recommendations...
I recommend my 1st specification, the Hewlett Packard Touch smart JQ772 desktop, as it has a 500GB hard drive where as my 2nd, the Hewlett Packard Touch smart JQ772 has only 160GB. The higher the disk capacity, the quicker files will load therefore will stop the computer from slowing down and crashing. Although the Compaq Presario SG3100 + 17" TFT Monitor allows you to run multiple programs with ease, the Hewlett Packard Touch smart JQ772 also has a touch screen which improves the quality of the product, taking you straight to your music, photos and video, just with the touch of your finger. The Hewlett Packard Touch smart JQ772 is an all-in-one PC with a complete entertainment centre and the latest operating system.
I also recommend the Macromedia Suite because they specialise in web design. Macromedia suite is the best application to use in web development. I recommend Microsoft Package because it helps you to write letters with Word, make all sorts of publication designs with Publisher, make spreadsheets in Excel and most of all I would recommend Internet Explorer as you can surf the World Wide Web and you can also use this feature to connect to Hotmail and other good servers.
When buying a computer, you’ll need to buy the software too. After calculating the prices of both (Software price: £100, Hardware price: £969.99) the total comes up to £1069.99. I think this is a good value of money as the hardware and software is updated and you’ll get all the latest features
