Introduction

Magazine Evaluation The magazine I have made is a Gaming magazine for gamers, who play consoles such as the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, it contains game reviews, interviews, graphic comparisons, 5 star rating of games and much more. The target audience is males in the ages between 7 and 25 but it varies from each game because they have age restrictions and many different genres. It is important to know your target audience so you can base the magazine on what the target audience would like, that is what I have done in my magazine, I done a survey of 30 people who play games on consoles regularly, (My target audience) I asked questions about what they would like to see in the magazine and in the results I could see that most of the people choose the same things. ...read more.

Middle

I have used a cover model which is a bit like the target audience (right age and gender) so that it will appeal more to the target audience. My magazine will be sold in game stores like Game, Virgin, Zavi, blockbuster, Tesco, Sainsbury and other supermarkets magazine racks. It will mainly be sold where the target audience goes, so they will spot the magazine and then decide to buy it or not, it needs to appeal to the target audience in seconds if it does not flash and get the person to buy it then it is not appealing enough to the target audience, so it is very important is looks appealing. Conclusion

I made a background which was the first layer then I added extra layers which are colour boxes text fields and images, they all have different layers so I can always move them around instead of having one big piece of work. It is a lot easier to do. I am very pleased with the final product which is printed out in high quality photo paper with colours and it looks very good if there was some things I could improve on my magazine it would be to spend more time editing the work in Adobe Macromedia Fireworks so I could make it look better and edit out minor errors to get maximum quality of the finished project, I am pleased with the picture of Lee as the model which has really made the magazine looking good. ?? ?? ?? ??
