There is also the use of paragraphs to spread out the information so it is easier to take in and understand it better. The title is in bold so it stands out more and catches the attention of the reader. The sub-titles are also in bold but not as big as the heading, this is because the reader can see easily what section his reading about. There is also the use of photos. To show the reader what some of the attractions look like and what you can do there.

Here are some of the evidence that I have just explained to you.

Majorca "Is the largest of the Balearics and is an incredibly beautiful island with rugged mountain scenery" this suggests it is a formal style of writing which appeals to our imagination of a more mature audience looking for the ultimate place to relax. It also mentions that "Majorca has something for everyone, the consumption of Palma and the array of shops and entertainment." These show that it is a persuasive type of text because it tells you all the things to do in Majorca and see all the shops, entertainment and the architecture of Palma. In addition to this " there is an abundance of activities on offer for the keen golfer" once again this is an example of persuasive evidence from the advert because it states it has lots of activities.

Puerto Pollensa "is a fishing village" this is a factual type of writing and will attract the keen fisher which is quite often an elderly retired person. Next it mentions "it is considered the prettiest north coast resort". This is a persuasive because it emphasises the beauty of the resort and tries to attract tourists to stay in the north costal area.

"Hotel Pollensa Park is a large friendly hotel with good facilities". This is a factual piece because it is explaining to you all the activities on offer at the hotel

One pictures show the resorts swimming area which has people having a relaxing swim and others taking in the sun raise on there sun beds. There is also palm trees in the picture, palm trees are normally only found in hot countries so this proves that it is a hot atmosphere all year round.

The Other picture Shows a cathedral, its is taken at night and is all lit up. This proves to be an attractive because elderly people often like old historic places such as the cathedral.

in conclusion if people were looking for a nice relaxation break it would be a good place to go would be the north coast of Majorca in Pollensa Park. But if you were looking for a more adventurous holiday you would go to the capital Palma there would be more life and entertainment you could also stay at the Hotel Pollensa Park, which has lots of activities to chose from.
