This is done by companies to encourage people to purchase their products or use their services, sales promotion is selected based upon the target market. E.g. pensioners would not be attracted to buy a product if a free balloon was given with it.

All sales promotions need to follow basic promotional rules, The ISP underlines all the rules and regulations of it.

The Institute of Sales Promotion Limited (ISP) was formed in1993 in 1979, we remain the only trade association that truly represents Promoters, Agencies and Service Partners engaged in Promotional Marketing.

The purpose of the ISP
