Abstract

In this paper I will explore my personal values. I will also show how my personal values line up with Kudler Fine foods Business overview. As well as show how my personal values will affect Kudler Fine Food if I in a managerial position. As an end result Kudler will be one of the most well-known Grocers in the world; thus Kudler Fine Food will be known as the 1# Organic food provider in the world.

In exploring my personal values I am a results oriented person. I believe behavior should be directed towards promoting the greatest good for the greatest number of people. According to Mill (1863) “There are few circumstances among those which make up the present condition of human knowledge, more unlike what might have been expected, or more significant of the backward state in which speculation on the most important subjects still lingers, than the little progress which has been made in the decision of the controversy respecting the criterion of right and wrong.”  It is not enough for a person to “talk the talk” results are indicated when a person is “walking the walk.” My goal is to achieve the greatest possible good for society through my business ventures. I focus on what can be done to improve the well being of the greatest number of people in my organization to provide the best customer services.

One way of doing this is to enforce different rules and regulation followed along with corresponding sanctions, in order to achieve what works best for business.  Van der Smissen (1990) submits that if rules and regulations are established but not communicated, it is as if they do not exist; or if they are established and communicated but not enforced, it is as if there were no rules and regulations.
