Thirdly you should not be running in a workshop because it’s very dangerous and you could break your bones and you could end up in a hospital.
Fourthly you should behave in a calm way because if you don’t you could end up hurting your self or some one ells. In the work shop you should know the hazard sign means before starting anything.
Fifthly you should behave as you know what you’re doing in a workshop and be ready for work. Also having your safety equipment because it’s very important to have safe equipment in a workshop. An important thing for management is to carry out a risk assessment.
Now am going to talk about how is not safe to work alone.
It’s not very wise or safe to work alone in a workshop or laboratory because if the person is alone, the person might get hurt and there well be no one supporting the person who’s hurt in a workshop or laboratory. Also it’s not safe to work alone because the person might not know what he/she is doing with the machines and its very dangers for the persons who’s working alone and doesn’t know what they doing. If you work alone you won’t know what you’re doing in a workshop or laboratory. The wise thing is to work with other people who know what they doing and who will support you when you get hurt. The best thing is to work with a person who has very good experience on the machines or equipment
Now am going to talk about entering the workshop or laboratory for the first time. When entering a workshop or laboratory for the first time you should look around and see what’s around you because then you well know what danger you’re in and what you should look out for. Also you should look out for the machines, tools, equipment and the hazard sign which are important because you could hurt your self and end up in a hospital, also you could set the place on fire if you don’t look out for the hazard signs. Also you should look out for the emergency exits so if a fire happens you now the way out of the place and so you don’t get burned. The most important thing is that you should now the health and safety signs before starting.

Now am going to talk about the risk assessment and why you need to go through it. The risk assessment is when they taking an examination of what could cause harm to people and others in a workshop or laboratory. They do this test to find the risks they are in. They way to get a good risks assessment is to avoid accidents and making shore they don’t get hurt. Risk assessment is a five way stage process and they should follow this way.
- The first thing they should do is find who’s at risk and why.
- Second is to look around and find the hazard signs.
- Thirdly they should find how people are at risk and they should make it lower so the risk gets low.
- Fourthly they should record them and asking about the person or them.
- Fifthly they should make a table of the record of the people or record on the assessment that they had.
This part of my questions is about what are the main hazards of smoking, eating and drinking in a workshop or laboratory. The hazards are of smoking is that you could set the place on fire also it’s not well for you health. The hazards of eating is that corrosive chemical could have cone to the food and its very dangers because it’s not good for you tissue and your body. The hazards of drinking is that you could spill the drinking and some one could trip over and hurt them self.
Now am going to talk about the list of precautions should be taken when removing sub-assemblies from electrical apparatus. You must use the tools for it and working your way carefully so you make no mistakes and then go through the device. When you are removing the sub-assemblies you should thing carefully then removing it and being calm when doing it and should have been patient.
Safety when soldering
Am going to give an account of good and bad practices when carrying out soldering in a workshop so I could get my aim. Also am going to base around environmental issues as well as equipment conditions and the hazards that could happen. There its lots of safety when soldering.
The ways of good practice when carrying out soldering in workshop is that you should wait for the flux gets heated and then you use solder. Also when soldering you should take you time and being careful gives you the time to get it in a perfect place and not making mistakes. Also your solder iron should be in a good condition because of you health and safety and making the best PCB. You have to be careful of the temperature of the solder because it could damage the PCB or even go through it. When soldering you should have space and time to make a perfect PCB and also make sure no is one is in your way and making stop from doing the work.
The ways of bad practice when carrying out soldering in workshop is that when the solder don’t heat up and you touch it to check it if it works and that could affect you the safety. Also a bad way is when you don’t now what you’re doing with a solder iron. Also fumes which gives you headache which is caused by lead and are dangerous. The bad ways of soldering is when you don’t know what you doing and you don’t care. Also not taking your time on the work.
The most dangerous thing is when you touching the solder and getting burned when it is hot. The two materials that are used when soldering is lead and colophony. These materials are very dangerous and can be hazards. Colophony is serious health hazard to people it could cause breathing problems.
In my conclusion soldering is a very good thing to use in a workshop and gets you work done. But there is some dangers of using which are you could burn your self.
Safety in electronic circuit Design and construction
My aim is to describe the advantage and disadvantages of producing a circuit board by acid etching.
The advantage is that is good to use for school, workshop and laboratory and there is many more place they use it because it’s very helpful and easy to use. Acid etching is a acid but the covering the acid in the glass. Mostly people get it because it’s cheap and it last for a long time. They also use it because it’s very good for single PCB. They use it for single PCB because acid etching is safe and if they use it in a good way is very helpful to the person, but they have to have there safety equipment so it well make it safe. Also acid etching gives a smooth finish to the PCB.
The acid etching also has disadvantages which are it takes long time to dry. It also has a hazard which is corrosion and it well affect to your skin if you touch it or if it goes on your tissue. Also if you breathe it in it could affect your breathing and it could go to your nose and in to your body. Acid etching also has high toxic fumes which are harmful to your body.
In my conclusion I thing it’s a good thing to use because it’s cheap but it may take time and it’s very easy way to use it and I thing it’s very safe for a person to use it, only if they have their safety equipment. Also its very good thing for clear etching and it makes it easy for the person who is using it because it makes it clear to see.
