This report, which is based on information gathered on the actual place, is going to describe and evaluate the new Leisure Centre of Isleworth (London),

• Two wide swimming pools for adults and one for children. The first swimming pool (Pool A) is an original Olympic one: it is 50m long, 20m large and up to 3m high. There are 10 lanes and it’s designed for professional swimmers that want to improve their skills by working out whenever they can.  Pool B (i.e. the second swimming pool) is a coast-shaped pool: the water is shallow on the swash zone and becomes higher backward up to 2 meters. It is filled with warm water in winter and has three colourful slides going down onto the water to make it more fun! The baby pool (Pool C) is linked to the second one and it’s 50cm high and 62 large, perfect for children aged 0 to 5.

• A stunning 100 station gym with the latest fitness equipment is stuffed by welcoming and qualified instructors. There are cardio vascular and resistance machines, free weights, stretching areas, tapis roulants, cyclettes etc..

• A indoor cycling studio separate from the rest of the gym designed to make people exercise without getting distracted by other costumers.

• Group classes exercises like Zumba classes, Pilates, Yoga  and so much more that costumers can attend twice a week.

• Canoeing courses are also available indoor (in Pool 4) or outdoor, since the leisure centre is upon the Thames! Here there is a great opportunity to face a new excellent, exciting experience with safe  lifejackets on and professional instructors.

Other facilities otherview:

• The café at Isleworth Leisure Centre  is a great place to relax and to grab a bite to eat after a session in the gym or while waiting for a course to start. It offers delicious homemade cakes and muffins, dietetic bars, hot drinks and so on.

• The crèche is a place you can trust where customers can leave their children during a workout or a swim. It offers a wide range of toys and amusements for children, while a member of staff will keep an eye on them.

• The trampolines’ room is a stunning innovation suggested by ILC, where children and adults can have fun, jumping up and down on huge trampolines.

• The changing rooms are fitted out to the highest standards, including single-sex rooms and a zone just for people performing aquatic sports. Well working showers, driers, lockers and disposable slippers are provided for the customer’s comfort.

A big deal – Money Matters:

ILC offers a good, economical dial: everyone can try the course is interested in for a whole week and then deciding whether to join the leisure centre. After that you will get a membership card for only £ 30 a month, including lessons, gym and swimming pool. Full time students pay 40 % less whereas children aged 0 – 6 do not pay for any of the courses, a part from canoeing for just £5 a lesson!
