P3: Describe the role of advertising agencies and the media in the development of a successful promotional campaign.

In this course work I will be looking at the advertising agency and describe the role of advertising agency. However I will be looking at the Asda agency advertisement and I will also look at what type of media have they been using to make the advertisement for Asda.  

What do the advertising agencies do

Advertising agencies are very large and highly competitive business that ate diverting a very important position in most of developing and it also has developed economies. With an excess of brands on offer, the need to inform, persuade and convince the customer is becoming gradually more important in the business environment. However this is where the tools of Advertising and Advertising Agencies that used to advertise the companies promotions.

Roles of advertising agency

Each business has two ways of doing their promotional activities, such as outsourcing and in-housing. The business that wish to success better they choose to do outsourcing which means they will give their promotional work to an advertising agency in order to assist them to develop the most effective promotional movements. Therefore Asda to be more successful they gave their promotional work to the newly selected agency which is MedisVest and they do Asda’s media promotion.
