Internet fax uses the internet to receive and send faxes. Traditional faxing involves sending a scanned copy of a document (a facsimile) from one fax machine to another, over the phone network. Internet faxing is a general term which can refer to one of several methods of achieving this over the Internet - with a goal of both reduced costs and increased functionality over traditional faxing.

A wiki is a page or collection of Web pages designed to enable anyone who accesses it to contribute or modify content, using a simplified mark up language. Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites. The collaborative encyclopaedia Wikipedia is one of the best-known wikis. Wikis are used in business to provide intranets and Knowledge Management systems. So in business everyone can access the wiki in the company so they can edited and put there own input on the wiki.

This is an advantage because you could access the work from anywhere from in the world so you can improve and so the other employee will know what to do in your absents.

- Can be easily set up as a website and webpages can be created or edited or deleted from the computer.
- Other articles can be linked to other articles by hyperlinking certain words in them.
Instant Messaging (IM)
Instant messaging, often shortened to simply "IM" is the exchange of text messages through a software application in real-time. Generally included in the IM software is the ability to easily see whether a chosen friend, co-worker or "buddy" is online and connected through the selected service. Instant messaging differs from ordinary e-mail in the immediacy of the message exchange and also makes a continued exchange simpler than sending e-mail back and forth. Most exchanges are text only; though popular services such as MSN Messenger now allow voice messaging, file sharing and even video chat when both users have cameras.
The features of IM are:
- Sending messages over the internet and be able to get an instant reply. So in business you could communicate with business contact anywhere in the world. This is an advantage because its cheaper than using a mobile phone because it cost to call a business contact, while using IM it can cost nothing because it can free software to download.

- Being able to use video chat because it would be like a video conference and it would save you a lot of money this way.
- Messages can be saved on the computers so you be able to check important information given to you.
- It’s a private way of communicating through business so important information can’t be lost.
- Offline messages can be sent so you can messages can be read went the person login if they are not online at the time u send the message.
- More than two people can be a in a conversation so you could do meeting over the internet.
Video Conferencing

Video conferencing can save you travel time and costs when working with off site personnel.
