For my primary research I am hoping to visit my local fire station and interview some of the crew

Primary research:
Primary research is obtaining new data and information for a specific purpose. Typically, the data is gathered by face-to-face interviews, by telephone or by post, or by questionnaires.
For my primary research I am hoping to visit my local fire station and interview some of the crew. However I understand that this may not be achievable due to the hectic and demanding schedules the fire-fighters have, therefore I am additionally going to send a short questionnaire to numerous stations in the local area and request that members of the crew could complete them in their own time and return them to me. I am also going to design a brief survey and question other public sector workers, such as nurses, teachers and council workers, and the general public, to obtain their views and any comments they have on the pay of fire-fighters.
