A Doctors Waiting room
As I pushed open the door and entered the doctors waiting a smell of antiseptics and medicine filled my nostrils; I looked around and saw that the room looked strangely green. As I sat down on the blue chair, which was a little uncomfortable, I remembered the last time I was in the waiting room, I was around five years old, looking rather funny with a green wax sticking out of my nose.
I looked around the waiting room and was quite surprised to see that it was quite merrily decorated. Seeing the warm and welcoming décor of the waiting room some of the fear of the coming injection drained out of me. There was a huge purple poster on the wall in front of me with ‘5 a day’ written on it in big, bold, yellow writing and pictures of five different fruits. Another poster on the wall to my right which had a large picture of the digestive system on it. There was also a model of a skeleton that was being attacked on by two small boys around about three to four years old. Their mum who was busy talking to the receptionist ran to them and pulled them back into a small play area behind me.
