What does ‘memorable’ mean? Does a luxurious and unreasonably expensive wedding equal to a memorable wedding? I think a memorable wedding should be very meaningful and extraordinary. In fact, an extravagant wedding is definitely nothing special for movie stars. They usually have a luxurious lifestyle and those grand things are nothing new for them. An extravagant wedding is just like anything that comes in their daily life. Moreover, for both the hosts and the guests, those overdone decorations are totally meaningless and forgettable. Why? Because most of those people are movie stars, as well.
I think such weddings could be far more memorable, for the hosts and the guests, if some of the millions of dollars spent could have been donated to charity instead. As you know, having a comparatively simple wedding is very unusual for the people engaged in the show business, and if the host donates a huge sum of money to charity on the wedding day, the wedding would be even more exceptional. It would be a truly ‘memorable’ wedding, grand but meaningful and extraordinary. Such a wedding would be unforgettable for everyone, not just the hosts and the guests, but also the press and the public.
What’s more is that the couple can definitely gain through such a wedding. They will earn the acclaim of the media and the public. And they will build themselves a philanthropist image. Such praises can help them be better accepted and thus be more successful in the show business.
In conclusion, I hope more and more movie stars will choose the proposed alternative to arrange their wedding in the future. Organizing a comparatively plain wedding and donating some money to charity on the wedding day is beneficial to both the movie stars themselves and the needy. In today’s society, it is vital to have some kind-hearted public figures. They can be good role models for others to learn how to care for one another.
Yours faithfully,
