Romeo falls in love with Juliet and they see each other without their families knowing because they would be in serious trouble.

Romeo and Juliet then get married, and Romeo leaves so Juliet pretends to be dead, they send a letter to Romeo telling him that’s it not real but unfortunately his mate tells him that Juliet is dead before the letter reaches him so he goes to her tomb and not knowing she’s only sleeping he commits suside and then Juliet awakes and sees Romeo dead and then also commits suicide.

There is tension from the start of act two scene two because at any point Romeo could get caught if he is caught he will be put to death. You would show this tension through the character of Romeo by the way he speaks. He speaks in a quiet and quick voice and also the way he moves.

In this scene the audience respond to Juliet in a weary way because they know something is going to happen to her but she doesn’t know.

Romeo would speak his lines in a strong serious voice trying to make Juliet take in what he was saying, like ‘’or, if thou wily, not but sworn my love’’ shows he truly loves her.

Romeo and Juliet describe their love as ‘’bright angel’’, and ‘’stony limits cannot hold love out’’ which shows they love each other no matter what they say. They say these things to each other to express to each other ...
