Marley as a ghost was really old rugged. His ghost also looked very decrepit due to his old age and the clothing. Marley came to warn Scrooge about the three spirits coming to haunt him, and their timing for the first two ghosts but not the last of the will come in its own. Marley came to Scrooge because he wants his spirit to be set free. Scrooge was not entirely scared because he doesn’t believe in ghosts and he gets nervous and wants to be reassured, thinks he is seeing things (illusion).

The first of the three spirits was very young as well as that it also had very muscular arms, it had hair, which was very long and white in colour. The ghost did not look evil in anyway at all, but it had a rather friendly tone of voice, which hadn’t sounded harsh or evil in anyway, what so ever.

The second of the three spirits was very jolly and joyful than the first spirit of the spirits and rather mischievous and had a ‘child like’ character. The spirit was rather gigantic in size compared to Scrooge. The second of the three spirits was also looked as well as sounded like he had a hidden agenda towards the end of this part of the second of ghosts showed Scrooge the Cratchits family and how they coped with life with very little expense. The spirit also mentioned that Tiny Tim might die because people didn’t give to charity. The ghost repeated the same words that Scrooge had said about decreasing the surplus population. ‘I see a vacant seat … and a crutch without an owner…’ Scrooge winced at the repeat of his words. This ghost also showed him two children called ignorance and want, the reason of showing these children because they represented what scrooge and what he does in life to be called by the names of his children called ignorance and want. (Can also be his inner demons/child)

The third ghost takes Scrooge to one of the few exchanges to hear at lest three men talking of death, with no respect at all and they say, “I don’t mind going if a lunch is provided…” Which means they do not have any emotions for the person that has died. Dead man scrooge is frightened to see the face under the sheet, then tries to uncover the body but lacks courage, and the ghost insists on seeing the body. And scrooge says,” Let us go…” He doesn’t wish to see the face of a dead person.
Bob Cratchits house, people were rather dull and plain without the presence of tiny Tim. Mrs Cratchit now more miserable because she really is depressed without the soul of tiny Tim. Mr Cratchit tries to hide his emotions but does confront the others that he is also hurting. The ghost then takes Scrooge to the graveyard, even though Scrooge wished to go home. The ghost shows him a gravestone. Scrooge thought it was the stone of the dead person under the sheets, which he saw previously. The ghost indicated him to see the name on the stone, when Scrooge sees EBENEZZER SCROOGE carved on the stone. He breaks down and tells the ghost that he will change and be a better man and will celebrate Christmas to the content.
