Convincing arguments can be made that minority languages are quite essential for anthropic culture and development. To start with, languages are tools of thinking. Because of different countries have different languages, so there are many stereotypes between different countries. Even people can translate languages, but some special part of culture we cannot translate, and these special parts are the precious features of countries. Therefore, if the different countries have the same language, they will lose the precious and special parts. Moreover, with disappearance of languages, the knowledge will disappear too. For instance, Amazonian can distinguish the toxic plants and antidote of these toxic plants in Amazon tropical rain forest. But now, Amazonian language is disappearing, so the knowledge of Amazonian is disappearing, too. Another example in China, Chinese Man language is disappearing. There are about 15,000,000 Man Chinese in China, but Man language only 100 people can understand and 50 people can speak, most of these people are older than 60 years old. They live in Heihe city, Heilongjiang province, a remote region in China. However Man people dominate the Qing Dynasty. There are many books and culture written by Man language, if Man language disappears, China will lose a lot of precious historical heritage.
Some people argument that the disappearance of minority languages is not unfortunate, it means people can communicate with each other more ease and comprehensive. At the same time, people can save expensive translation fee. All languages should be replaced by one or some majority languages. However, solo-language will cause solo-culture, could a solo-culture develop steadily and provide much more convenient on communication? In fact, vernacular can propagate the local culture. And it can help linguist, historian and philosopher study on thinking of human, and help people understand their local precious historical culture. Every language has different way to understand the world. Experts think that each disappearance of minority language is an unfortunate for human. The letters, words and grammar have developed for a long time. It has become an invisible heritage of human being.
Because minority language is very important for human, so we should revive the minority language. However, how can we revive the minority language? Government should provide legal and financial support for minority language. Some countries have provided legal support for minority language. For example, In Slovakia for example, the Hungarian community generally considers the 'language law' enacted in 1995 discriminative and inconsistent with the European Charter for the Protection of Regional or Minority languages, while majority Slovakians view that minority speakers' rights are guaranteed in accordance with the highest European standards and not discriminated against by the preferential status of the state language. The language law declares that 'the Slovakian language enjoys a preferential status over other languages spoken on the territory of the Slovakian Republic' and as a result of a 2009 amendment, a fine of up to € 5.000 may be imposed for a misdemeanor from the regulations protecting the preferential status of the state language, e.g. if the name of a shop or a business is indicated on a sign-board first in the minority language and only after it in Slovakian, or if in a bilingual text the minority language part is written with bigger fonts than its Slovakian equivalent, or if the bilingual text on a monument is translated from the minority language to the dominant language and not vice versa, or if a civil servant or doctor communicates with a minority speaker citizen on a minority language in a local community where the proportion of the minority speakers is less than 20%.Signed languages are often not recognized as true natural languages even though they are supported by extensive research. In the United States, for example, American Sign Language is the most used minority language yet almost the only minority language which lacks official government recognition. In conclusion, language can propagate culture. Minority languages can propagate much more precious culture in the world. So we should save these minority languages. Government could provide much powerful support on legal and financial. There are 3000 kind of languages are dangerous, if a kind of language disappeared, human will say goodbye to a kind of luxuriant culture. We must use any way to record the dangerous languages and protect the luxuriant culture of all human.
