I do not believe that the statement “it cannot be true that there is life after death because there is no evidence for it” is true. I doubt it on the grounds that it can be stated that there is life after death because there is no evidence that there isn’t! In this essay I will justify this belief and will explain what the major religions all say on this matter.

Christianity says that there is an afterlife but proposes no evidence for this. Also the historic nature of the bible and the differences in interpretation also hinder its scientific validity.
