Introduction:
Me and Chantelle stand in front of the audience and first tell them the title and what our play is all about and then introduce them the character and lastly show them a quick little part of Sam and Isha meeting together and ending up with teenage pregnancy. After the introduction light black out for a few moment and then come back out ready for the scene. The reason why it blacks out is to show the audience that the scene is changing. The intention of this scene was to give a quick summarise to the audience.
Scene 1:
Scene one is when Sam, who played the character of the teenage father and as a friend of Isha on the second scene, phoning Isha, who played the character of the teenage mother, to talk to her about their child. Isha refuses to answer the phone because of her friends next to her taunting her. After a couple of try Sam sees that Isha is not going to open the phone and there he has soliloquy were he talks about he can’t take it anymore so his going to leave the child to mother and he thinks she has to take care of the child as well. Then he gets the ready with the child and gets out the house and starts going towards the park to find Isha. The intention of this scene was to show the audience how a teenage relationship mostly ends up after a teenage pregnancy.
Scene 2:
This scene takes part in a park. It opens with Isha having a conversation with Chantelle, Isha’s best friend, and Nickole, also Isha’s best friend. Unexpectedly Sam happens to walk in the scene with the child and walks next to Isha. Then Isha gets off the bench and asks Sam why his there and Sam replies back asking her when she’s going to take care of the child. Then everyone freezes and Isha has a thought tracking about why he had to do this. At this time Isha and Sam has an argument while Chantelle and Nickole is laughing about it. This is where Sam can’t take any more about this argument and leaves the child with Isha and walks off. Isha doesn’t know what to do because she actually had a plan for the day. While Isha, Chantelle and Nickole is talking about what they are going to do with the baby me, known as Junior Isha’s friend, and Sam, acting as Isha’s friend this time, walk in and see them three sitting on the bench with the child next to them. I ask whose toddler it is and Chantelle replies back telling me that it’s Isha’s. After then me and Chantelle try to wake the child up to play about with it and Isha does not want us to do that. At last the child wakes up so me and Chantelle plays around with by squeezing its cheeks. This makes the baby cry and because of the reason that we have no idea of how to stop it cry it got out of control. Then Hansel, playing the character of a police officer walks in and sees the baby cry so he walks up to us and asks few question about whose baby it is and why it’s crying. Chantelle then gets of the bench and plays the sexy girl on Hansel and pulls him away. Then she comes back and tells us that his gone. While we try to do something to stop it from crying Nickole picks up the baby and strokes it on the back and after a few seconds the baby stops crying. I and Chantelle then start playing around with the baby again and Isha tells us to stop because of what we did last time. Nickole joins in says that Isha’s right we should leave the baby alone. This time we squeeze the babies cheeks and give it a little slaps as we liked it but these were hard squeezing and slapping. Then the baby starts crying louder and this time no matter what we didn’t manage to make it stop crying and this is where Hansel walks in again and asks why it’s crying. I then make up a lie saying that the baby is hungry and that I was just about to go and buy some milk for it. So I leave the scene. Then Chantelle joins back in and takes Hansel and plays the sexy girl on him again. After Hansel goes I come back in with milk on my hand and beyond this point is where everything gets out of control. Me and Chantelle get stuff out of control and do things that we thought was just little things to the baby. Sam thinks what we are doing is wrong so he says his leaving and he leaves the scene. We do stuff like rubbing its dirty pants on its face and throw stones at it and get Isha to join us as well. Suddenly we realise that the baby isn’t crying anymore and no noise is coming out from it. When we check why this is unfortunately were all in a shock because the baby is dead and we don’t know what to do. Were all in a panic and we get caught. The lights blacken out. The intension of this scene was to show the audience how big could things get that they think are small.
Scene 3:
This scene opens with all of us who were there at when that event happened which caused the baby to die. We are all in a jail having an argument about mostly whose fault it was and blaming each other. Me, I was in a corner sitting on the floor confused about what going on. Chantelle is trying to say anything to blame things at me and Nickole is wondering how she came there because all she done was to sit next to us. Isha is confused, embarrassed and ashamed of her self of what she has done to her own blood. This argument then gets bigger and all of us start to shout at each other then Hansel comes in the scene as being the police officer and tells us to quite. Then he gives a message to Isha that she has a visitor. Every one of us here then freezes. The point of this scene was to show the audience the type of situation that most get into after a little thing.
Scene 4:
Scene 4 is the last scene of our act and this is where Isha and Sam are sat on a table and Sam is questioning Isha about how and why she has done this to their own blood. Isha has no answer to say back to him except from to blame the others and say that it was all an accident. Sam carries on asking her the same questions couple of times to put her under stress and pressure to make her feel what he is feeling. Then they both freeze and Isha come into the scene and talks to the audience about what it was all about and gives out the message and finally thanks them. The function of this scene was to give out the audience the aim of our play and the message. Most importantly to show them the devastating end after a small event.
Conclusion:
We end our part of drama with a conclusion were Chantelle stands in the middle and tells the audience what happens to each one of us after we are out of jail and while she does this we all walk through the stage and show a little demonstration of it. I am in a mental hospital after jail and Nickole now looks after babies. Chantelle is pregnant from Hansel. Isha and Sam are now back happy together and the end.

Section 5
MY DESIGN
As lightning we used mixture of colours were it was a mix dark colour with a little bit of light colour onto it. This was used in the last 2 scenes to show the stressing and depression that the characters were in at that situation. For the introduction and conclusion it was spot light to show the audience that it’s an intro and ending. For the abusing scene it was normal house lights because of the reason that this scene was acted as it was in a park so house lights was used as normal day light. After each scene no lights were used it was black out so that we can change the places of the objects that we have to and also show the audience that the scene is changed. For our act of drama we didn’t use any particular sound effects or music because we had not found any suitable sounds or music for our play.
Section 6
IMPROVISATION & REHEARSALS
We used improvisation to create our play by cooperation. In this cooperation we used one whole collaboration ideas and listened to each and one other with respect. We all worked as a big group in rehearsals and put in the effort. Any one who wanted to make any changes could give out the idea and by group voting we choose weather if we shall use that change or not. Group discussed changes all together and to do this at times to times we all sat in a circle and have conversations about these changes. Group rehearsals begin after when we all sit in the beginnings of the lesson have a quick conversation about the play, roles and changes. It then ends were we all sit back together and have another conversation about how it was and if any changes shall happen or keep it the same and then the rehearsals ends. If any changed shall happen the we stop the rehearsal and sit in a group again and talk about it then we write it down and go over it by acting it out several times back in rehearsals.
Final Section
OUTCOMES
My final products has matched my original ideas even though there was some changes been made. For this part of drama because it was the first coursework I ever had in drama I tried my best and done the best I could to achieve a good level. The rehearsals really worked well by the group work we came up with and listening to each other with respect. Acting it out was a little harder than the rehearsals because of the panic I was in I kind of got some parts wrong but even though to not let this happen me partners had carried on the act and didn’t let me get out of role. We had changed some of the scenes orders because it did not actually match the way it was in the beginning. We didn’t really take out any bits of the play but we did add on to them to make it work better. Lastly with a little help we came out with the idea of putting in thought tracking were at several bits and to do this we came up with an idea were who ever will be though tracking will click their hands to let the others know. This made the others in the group freeze and that person will move around the room talking as if he or she is thought tracking and then they will come back into their positions and click after a few seconds the play will carry on. This was chosen to be done in our play as a whole group because we thought this will be easier for the audience to understand us and that character. Finally I have gained more working in group work working this way and found out that drama is mostly about group work.
