Methodology In order to undertake my research I conducted a survey of 20 girls in year 11 with birth dates in 1988 or 1989. The girls were selected at random with the only criteria been they were female. After much consideration I decided on a 20-question survey. The main reason was if the survey were to long it would be to time consuming to complete. The survey contained sixteen strictly quantitative data questions and four qualitative questions. This was done to ensure that participants had the opportunity to explain their answers and also to elaborate. The questions then diverged into more deep questions involving what influenced their choices and restrictions on their choices. Finally the survey allowed responders the opportunity to add any other recommendations, advice, thoughts or ideas relating to the topic. The problems involving my methodology included aspects such as responder involvement. In other words how seriously the girls took the survey. Hopefully it will be treated with importance and show answers involving this. His family was driven out of Iraq because of Saddam Hussein. His father was taken hostage by a guerilla mob and is most likely dead. He found his way to Britain in the back of a lorry with his mother and his two younger sisters. When he arrived in Britain he lived in a hostel in Leytonstone with his family and his twelve year old sister had to work as a prostitute to try and earn enough money to provide for the family. His mother was ill and his youngest sister, Zahrsa had to look after her throughout the day whilst he was at school trying to get an education. He was bullied continuously at school and had one friend Marik who lived on the same estate as him. Tariq's story started like this: It was your average Tuesday night for Tariq. He'd just finished school at Tom Hood High School, where he went to school, and was making his way to the park where he always met his friend Marik, everyday after school. Marik's family was very rich and Marik went to a private school in Hertfordshire where he was bullied constantly. "GRASS-ROOTS DEVELOPMENT" Netball is available in many areas all over the country. It is taught in both Primary and Secondary schools. Teachers working in their own time, to develop the sport further and to provide the school with a team, set up extra Curricular clubs. The school teams will then have the opportunity to compete in local and national competitions. School teachers at primary school level tend not to have many coaching certificates, as too, Secondary do not. Netball is also played in local clubs, which cater for recreational participation and for more serious players wishing to play at a high level club, county and national competitions. The game and the high quality clubs are more commonly found in the larger cities such as Manchester, London and Liverpool. The disadvantages of netball are, that there is not much television coverage. This means people do not understand the game therefore do not participate in the sport. What is a hero? In my view a hero is someone that you admire. You may admirer them for their achievements, outlooks in life or maybe just because they are famous. In this case I admire my hero for his courage and his determination all through his personal life and his career. This story begins in Bellshill near Glasgow 24th September 1962 where a Glaswegian boy was born. His parents Alexander and May called their miracle Alistair Murdoch McCoist. If only his parents had known the difference this baby boy would make to Scottish football in years to come. At the age of 16 Ally left His High School Hunter high to take up a career in football after his chemistry teacher Archie Robertson noticed him and took him to the St Johnstone Boys Club trials. Unfortunately Mr Robertson died and did not see ally make it to the professional football stage in his career. This is one of Ally's biggest regrets in life.
