Polygamy is where a man agrees with women to have more than one wife. But there are certain things the man has to take into consideration before doing polygamy: * The first wife has to agree and give permission. * Later wives may not cause any distress or problems for any other wives. * All wives must be treated equally. As soon as all these have been sorted the man can marry as many women as he wants. Advantages of polygamy: * Men have more support through life and death. * Enjoy different qualities in different women. Disadvantages of polygamy: * The women may agree but then feel neglected. * Women need support as well as men but women cannot do polygamy. This shows that there is reason for and against but I personally think that men should not be allowed to do this when women can't there is supposed to be an equality between men and women. This idea I don't think would work in Britain due to the fact that we don't have rules saying NO sex before marriage so people can have sex before they get

Newsreel: Man and Firing Squad

Newsreel: Man and Firing Squad I A botched job, the blindfold slipped, he sees his own death approaching, says No or something, his torso jumps as the bullets hit his nerves / he slopes down, wrecked and not even cleanly, roped muscles leaping, mouth open as though snoring, the photography isn't good either. II Destruction shines with such beauty Light on his wet hair serpents of blood jerked from the wrists Sun thrown from the raised and lowered rifles / debris of the still alive Your left eye, green and lethal III We depart, we say goodbye Yet each of us remains in the same place, staked out and waiting, it is the ground between that moves, expands, pulling us away from each other. No more of these closeups, this agony Taken just for the record anyways The scenery is rising behind us into focus, the walls and hills are also important, Our shattered faces retreat, we might be happy, who can interpret the semaphore of our bending bodies, from a distance we could be

Original Writing Poetry It's a cunning way of saying you love me I sometime don't understand you.You don't fit in my equation.

It's a cunning way of saying you love me I sometime don't understand you. You don't fit in my equation. I witness something promising- And jump into conclusion. You share those feelings with me. You make things up specifically for me. The whole point is to make me aware- Of how you feel and what you want to be. You cant tell me those prolonged emails are sham. Cant tell me you don't fancy me at all. Surely its you who is trying to create something- To ensure the Sun is rising after the dark fall. It also true that you are mysteriously weird! Awkwardly anomalous and unpredictable. I think there are two different "you"- One of which I love and the other one is noble. So I am confused as I have always been with you. Why do you demonstrate a positive manner? And why do you then show the stubborn side of yours? If you haven't got anything to do, why waste my

Mom - poem

Do you know mom...? Every night before I go to sleep, I think about you, As I lay in bed, alone in my own little world of thoughts, You are there with me "my mother." Do you know that in those thoughts, I worry and wonder, dream and scheme, pray and swear, That as I do all those things, I wonder what my mother is My mother is the best human being She was always there are for me, In happiness, in loneliness, and sadness Mom do you know That I need you, not just physically but deep in my soul And then I will know that you are with me all the time A completeness that comes with the sound of your voice, The smile on your face, your touch on my skin When I was your little girl. Do you know that in my dreams we are together? That in my dreams there is you, and I Do you know that I love you?

Original Writing Poetry If you were mine You didn't knowAside my smiles there are enormous pain,

If you were mine You didn't know Aside my smiles there are enormous pain, Enormous sorrow and complain. You didn't know nor could you notice My heartaches for you every time it beats, Then leads me towards darkness and forfeits. You didn't know now, did you? When I begged you for love, begged you for mercy, You didn't even bother to look at my life's ecstasy. You should know the ultimate fact No one on the earth has the propensity To love you more than me, I guarantee. Every Morning I wake up With new hopes and possibility, I want you to love; not to pity. Once again life begins With bunch of flower on my right hand, Promise not to love but at least be my friend. I neither no nor think I know Why should I suffer for you? You haven't got the right, have

Poetry: original writing

Poetry: original writing He is alone A child full of misery, A spirit left unfree. His innocent deep blue eyes, A source of pain and so he cries, Cries for love; for peace, But the pain does not cease. A large burn on his leg, A golden locket round his neck, A picture of a man in black and white, He cannot see the evil, he cannot see the fight. The boy sits so alone, Scared for when she comes home, Scared of what she will say, what she will do. His heart throbs for help; for the truth. He longs for a loving touch. Surely that is not too much. Waiting for his father's return, Until then he must burn, In a blistering hell No one is listening, no one to tell. He is

Original Writing Poetry I am what I am I am a torn piece of clothGood enough to wipe off bits of waterPerfect when you are crying

I am what I am I am a torn piece of cloth Good enough to wipe off bits of water Perfect when you are crying Not really useful when you flatter. I am an annoying triumph Don't really know if it may entertain you, When you want to be amused Chance to be satisfied not very few! I am a sad "turned off" lover Who just knows how to love, Who shows feeling for others Invokes a couple and a dove. I am an unsuccessful human An unskilled player of the game, I tried to show my lack of skills through this poem But I am not ashamed, I am what I
