Introduction

In this part of the coursework I am going to be describing types of teams and their associated benefits.

The organisation I am going to be using to do this part of the coursework is Tesco. Tesco is one of the largest retail organisation in U.K today it has many stores spread out all over the U.K. It will have many different teams working together in those stores to make sure Tesco is successful. I am going to be talking about some of those teams and how Tesco benefit from having those teams. I am going to choose three different teams and talk about if they are formal, informal, permanent or temporary.

The first team I am going to be talking about is Marketing team that is in Tesco. The marketing team plays a big part in making Tesco successful.

The marketing team can be either: formal, informal, permanent or temporary. I am going to explain what these words mean:

Formal: A formal team is a group of people put together to work together for a particular job.

Informal: An informal team is a group of people who develop on a less structured way.

Permanent: A permanent team is a group of people who are put together on a long term basis for a particular reason.

Temporary: A temporary team is a group of people who are employed by a company for a short period of time.
