Futsal Basketball Skill A skill is the ability to perform an action, which can be learned. * In Futsal passing is when you have the ball and pass it to a member of your team. This is done by the player either using the inside or outside of their foot to cushion the ball and pass it. Passing is used throughout a Futsal game to get the ball from your goal to the opposing team's goal. * Dribbling in Futsal is when you travel with the ball. This is done by you doing a series of small kicks and travelling with the ball in front of you. This is constantly used during Futsal as dribbling is a key skill for the ball to move. * Intercepting is used in Futsal for you to gain the ball back from the opposing team. This is done by the opposing team making a pass to their player and you intercept by putting your foot there to retrieve the ball for your team. * Shooting is key in Futsal as it kicking the ball to score in the opposing team's goal. ...read more.

* Inside dribbling in Futsal is when the player dribbles the ball with the inside of his foot. This is done by taping the ball then stepping over it. Players normally use this when in an open space and don't have the opposing team's players nearby to tackle the ball. For example this is done when a player have space to dribble free from other players. Also this is used when a player to keep the ball for close control. * Inside of the foot strike, is when the player uses the inner foot to shoot the ball. This is done when the player cushions the play with the inner foot and kicks it with all his strength. An example of this is when taking a shot at the goal with all force the player uses the inside of his foot to shoot which give him more force. * Inside pass in Futsal is when you pass the ball with the inner foot. You cushion the ball and use the inner foot to pass the ball to the players on your team. * Knowledge of the sport is essential as if you don't know anything about Futsal let alone the rules you may be going against the regulation. * Communication in essential in basketball as it helps the players to work together to win the game. This is done in various ways such as hand movements signalling or speaking. Encouragement is one form of speaking communication as it helps the players to be motivated to do what they are doing. * System of play in basketball is used in basketball to stop the opposing team from scoring. For example zone defence is one where each player is given a zone on the court to defend. * Set plays are strategies planned before matches these are used to mark the opposition's weaknesses. This can be done is various ways like if the oppositions weakness is shooting your main target is to block shots by defending to your best ability. * Types of player who play on the game also determine how well the game will go. Bigger built player have more power.
