ICT Evaluation of my materials produced for a "Get Moving" health campaign.

Jay Afruz Evaluation Logo My logo is suited for its audience as it is simple to understand and gets the message across quickly – to get up and get moving. The audience for my logo is teenagers; teenagers want information given to them quickly and simply which is what my logo does. The purpose of my logo is to promote the Get Up, Get Moving campaign and to be used on variety of other tools and content which I created so that the user can identify that the product they are using is from the Get Up, Get Moving project. My logo was easy to adapt which allowed me to easily use it on content for example when using my logo on my website I didn’t want the background of the logo to be white on my website which had green background as it would make my website look unprofessional so I adapted my logo so that the white background was transparent this made the overall appearance of my website better as it no longer looked unprofessional. On the final version of my logo it was suggested that I animate the man in my logo so that it got the point across that Get Up, Get Moving is about keeping active via exercise and taking part in sports. To animate my character I could use the animation tool in Photoshop, if I were to animate my character I would make him run then do star jumps and then loop this animation so he is continually running or doing star jumps. Also it was suggested that I

All you need to get is a physical connection and a browser to get on the Internet. Most People use a computer and a modem connected to a telephone line. A modem converts computer signals that can be carries over telephone lines. Next you would need a Web Browser, the most common is Internet Explorer which comes as part of the Windows system, and there are also other web browsers. Lastly you would need the modem to dial up a computer owned by an Internet Service Provider (ISP). It is a company which offers their customer's access to the Internet. What are web Services?

What are web Services? Web services allow interoperable software components to be built over the web using standard protocols, which can perform business functions and processes. Currently organisations have to choose a single product vendor to provide the software functionality to perform an business function or process i.e. if a company wishes to automate it's HR function then it would look at souring the software from a single ERP vendor rather then source the best bits from the best vendors at the right price. The main reason for this is interoperability of data definition and messaging standards between different vendors is not consistent. This means a-lot of work on integrating the different components would need to be carried out which is not feasible. Interoperability of data and messaging is the underlying foundation of web services. Organisations will be able to get the best components from the companies wish to perform their business functions e.g. within HR a software component to manage compensation and benefits can be bought from SAP, a software component to manage performance management can be bought from PeopleSoft and so on. All these components are interact under the web services framework to provide a seemless automated HR function. This single example simpler more cost effective integration will The concepts that underpin Web Services are not new: *
