Leisure )Que fais-tu pour te diverter le soir? Le soir j'aime frequenter mes amis et ma famille et nous mangeons dans de bons restauraunt. Pourtant ma famille est genante. Les Vacances d'ete L'ete dernier, je viens de passer des vacances ideales en Espagne. J'ai pris l'avion depuis Heathrow et quatre heures plus tard, j'etais dans le centre de Madrid. J'ai voyage en avion parce que c'est tres rapide mais il n'y a pas beaucoup de place et ce n'est pas comfortable. Ce n'etait pas du tout ennuyeux parce que nous avons mange et bu dans l'avion et nous avons regarde des films. Apres etre arrivee dans le centre de Madrid, je suis tout de suite allee visiter la plage d'ou j'ai eu une vue magnifique. C'etait tres agreable. Il faisait toujours du soleil, donc, nous nous sommes bronzes dans la plage, mais il y avait beaucoup de personnes, donc mon pere etait tres fache. Avant de visiter ma famille dans le sud de Madrid, nous sommes restes dans L'hotel de luxe. Il y avait un grand restaurant et les chambres etaient tres pratiques avec la salle de bains et le mini-bar. Pendant mes cinq jour en Espagne, j'ai aussi achete beaucoup de cadeaux pour mes copines. A mon avis, je n'oublierai jamais ces vacances en Espagne et je voudrais y retourner bientôt quand je serai plus age. Sara

Discuss the presentation of Gatsby's character through Carraway's Narrative Perspective In the novel The Great Gatsby, Fitzgerald tells the story through the narrative perspective of Nick Carraway, a character within the novel who has a somewhat peripheral role in the story. The effect of this is that the reader learns about Gatsby's character through the eyes of Carraway, thereby revealing information about Gatsby gradually; the effect of this is to keep the reader interested in finding out more about Gatsby; were the reader to find out his past at the beginning of the novel, part of the character's appeal would be ruined: his mystery. The mystery surrounding Gatsby is something that Carraway's Narrative perspective plays the key role in creating; that Carraway and the surrounding characters don't know much about his past, other than rumours and fragments of information to begin with is mirrored in what Fitzgerald reveals to the audience, creating an empathy with Carraway. This empathy with Carraway means that Carraway's opinions are likely to be shared by readers on some level, as Fitzgerald gradually reveals information. The scientific study of how relationships form has shown that, at least in the initial stages, this process may have little to do with deep feelings and shard emotions, and more to do with self-interest. There are two main theories of relationship formation: The Reinforcement Affect Model and The Social Exchange Theory. The Reinforcement Affect Model The Reinforcement Affect Model was suggested by Byrne and Clore (1970). It proposes that we enter into a relationship because the individual concerned creates positive feelings in us, which makes them more attractive to us. The 'reinforcement' aspect of this model concerns operant conditioning; we like some individuals because they provide us with direct reinforcement (I.e. they make us feel good). This is supported by Griffir and Guay (1969) who found that participants rated and experimenter more highly if he/she had given them a positive evaluation. The 'reinforcement' aspect can also be associated with classical conditioning; we like some individuals because they are associated with pleasant events.
